What is it?

Let us go, you and I,
Where some twilight hits the sky,
When the black turns slowly grey
At the dawn of a new day
Let us walk alone through empty streets at dawn,
When echoes of last night still linger on,
Of sleepless hours in meaningless nights,
Once restless pursuits dissolve in hazy lights
In all these places all these faces come and go
Talking of all these other places and all these other faces
they long to know and long to see and long to go
Or not to see or not to meet or not to know
In the quiet dusk few shadows creep,
give room for thoughts of life, of dreams asleep,
How my day is measured out by scrolling feeds,
Days drift by like posts that no one really reads.
I have known these evenings,
mornings,
afternoons,
Have seen darkness in bright rooms,
Felt and sensed this fear of a life that is unknown,
I heard ongoing whispers,
whispering "You're not alone."
I have often pondered, „Should I dare?"
To chase dreams; or just go out to breathe fresh air,
grasp moments fleeting fast,
make memories meant to last.
In the outside world some voices rise,
You might be haunted by what may be,
You might find a path that sets you free.
You might need to be persuaded
shed fear of shadows you never knew yet always hated
Just come on out and roll the dice
In my head those murmurs swell,
Trying to break my timeless spell.
In any new moment, hand in hand,
We walk together, understand
that life is not a race to end,
But moments shared by friends with friends!
So let us walk together, you and I,
Embrace the earth, the sea, the sky,
For in each heartbeat, in each breath,
We find new joy and explore new depths.
We know these evenings, mornings, afternoons,
We have seen brightness in dark rooms
And as another day fades, peaceful shadows roam
We find in each other, together, we are home
And in my head echoes this verse
Go dare disturb the universe
